Little Bird Tale - Our Halloween Costumes

During Daily 5 the students created a Little Bird Tale about what costume they would be wearing for Halloween.  This is an app on our I Pad and the students were so proud to hear their story after they were finished.  We are already working on another story!

Every Day Math

We started a new Math curriculum this year in First Grade called Every day Math.  It is packed with fun interactive games and learning activities that motivate the students to LOVE Math!  Below the students are experimenting with their green templates.  Each student will have a math tool kit where we will add tools for math through out the year to our kits.

Tech it 2 - Learning so much....in the summer!

I just had to share how much I am gaining and learning in my Tech it 2 class in Hampton this week.  We have a wonderful instructor that is slowly getting us through the various types of technology we can utilize in our classroom with our students.  We have been giving a lot of time to play and experiment - which has been fabulous! 

Today I made my first EVER iMovie!  I am so excited to use it with my first graders next year to create some fun projects throughout the school year!  Yeah, technology!

Chapter 5 - Uncle Feather's Adventure

 The  house smelled  bad so Sheila opened the window.  Oh no! Uncle Feather exaped out the window so Fudge and  his brother went through a fog.  They  went  to a   house and  got  hot choclate. then they   went home and  Libby came running in and yelling a bat a bat is following me! wait  it lookes like uncle feather is it? It is!
